Privacy Policy

Effective 8 October 2026

Would You Rather (wyr.humanbit.in) is a form builder operated by HumanBit (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to people who build forms (“creators”) and people who answer them (“respondents”).

1. What we collect

Account data (creators)

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use these to create your account, show who you are to collaborators, and contact you about your forms. We do not receive your Google password.

Form content

The forms you build: questions, options, logic, branding, and any images or voice prompts you upload.

Responses (respondents)

Answers you submit to a form, including text, selections, files, and audio or video recordings when a form asks for them. Some forms require sign-in, in which case your Google name and email are attached to your response; others allow anonymous answers. The form creator controls this setting and is responsible for telling you how your answers will be used.

Technical data

Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service: build, publish, share and collect forms.
  • To show creators the responses to their forms, including exports.
  • To optionally transcribe or summarise voice and text answers using AI, when a creator enables that feature.
  • To keep the service secure, debug problems and prevent abuse.
  • To send transactional email such as collaborator invites.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Google user data

Would You Rather’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the basic profile scopes (name, email, picture) needed to identify you. If you connect a Google Sheet to a form, we request access to that sheet only to write responses into it.

4. Who can see your data

  • Creators and their collaborators see every response to their forms, including recordings and files.
  • Service providers that host the product on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Google Cloud (file and media storage, Asia-South region), Vercel (hosting), and AI providers used for optional transcription or summaries. Each is bound by its own data-processing terms.
  • Legal requests, where we are required to disclose data by law.

5. Retention

Form content and responses are kept until the creator deletes the form or their account. Recordings and uploads are deleted from storage when their form is deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

6. Your rights

You can delete any form you own from your dashboard, which removes its responses. To delete your account, export your data, or ask us to correct or erase something, email hello@humanbit.ai. If you answered someone else’s form, contact that creator first; we will also help where we can. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or India’s DPDP Act, and we will honour them.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Private media such as voice answers is only reachable through short-lived signed links issued after an access check. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run the service.

8. Children

Would You Rather is not directed at children under 13, and creators must not use it to knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Changes

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify creators by email.
